Plushy Mochi is run by Cacele Digital, LLC. When you shop with us we collect what we need to get your order to you: your name, contact details, shipping address and order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers, so we never see or store your full card number. We don't sell your personal information, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete what we have about you at any time by emailing hello@cacele.com.

Who we are

Plushy Mochi (the "Store"), available at plushymochi.com, is owned and operated by Cacele Digital, LLC, a Florida limited liability company located at 4475 US-1 South, Suite 604, St. Augustine, Florida 32086, United States ("Plushy Mochi", "Cacele", "we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit the Store, create an account, place an order, join our email list or contact us.

This policy covers the Store only. Cacele's corporate website and other Cacele apps and services have their own privacy notices.

What we collect

Information you give us.

• Orders: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), billing and shipping address, the items you buy, gift notes and any order notes.
• Accounts: your name, email address, saved addresses and order history if you create an account.
• Email list (Plush Post Club): your email address and the date you subscribed.
• Messages: your name, email, order number and anything you write when you contact us.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments and other payment providers shown at checkout (for example PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay). They collect your card or wallet details directly. We receive only limited information, such as the payment method type, the last four digits of a card and whether the payment succeeded.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Store, our platform and services automatically record information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location (country and region), the pages you view, the products you look at or add to your cart, the site that referred you and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected with cookies and similar technologies; see our Cookie Notice.

Information stored only in your browser. Your Favorites list is saved in your own browser's local storage and is not sent to us unless you add those items to your cart or place an order.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric or government ID data) through the Store.

How we use your information

• To process, ship and deliver your orders, including sending order confirmations, shipping notices and tracking updates.
• To handle returns, exchanges, refunds and customer service requests.
• To create and maintain your account, if you choose to have one.
• To send you marketing emails about new arrivals, gifts and offers, only if you subscribed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the Store secure, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To understand how the Store is used so we can improve products, pages and the shopping experience.
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence models.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Store, under agreements that limit how they can use it:

• Shopify – hosts the Store, processes checkout and stores order and customer data. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
• Payment providers – such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, to process payments and prevent fraud.
• Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers – such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and our fulfillment partners (some located outside the United States), who receive the name, address and order details needed to pack and deliver your order.
• Email and customer-service tools – to send order and marketing emails and answer your messages.
• Analytics – Shopify's built-in analytics, to understand traffic and sales.
• Google Fonts – delivers the fonts used on the Store; Google sees your IP address when the fonts load.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to a lawful request, to protect our rights, customers or others, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Advertising and tracking

As of the date above, we do not run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on the Store. If we add advertising tools (for example on Meta, Google or TikTok), we will update this policy and our Cookie Notice and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first. You can always manage your choices on our Your Privacy Choices page.

How long we keep it

• Orders and transactions: as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
• Accounts: until you ask us to close your account.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.
• Customer-service messages: up to 24 months after our last conversation unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it
• Send you a portable copy
• Stop sending you marketing emails
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do not currently do either)

Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, have these rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR. We honor these requests for everyone. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request, and we may need to verify your identity (usually by confirming your email and an order number) before acting on it. If we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our decision.

International customers

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers and fulfillment partners operate. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses used by our providers, for these transfers.

Security

We use reputable platforms and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and all pages on the Store are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Many of our products make wonderful gifts for kids, but the Store itself is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will give more prominent notice, such as a note on the Store or an email to customers.
