Exactly which cookies we use, and which ones we don't.

In plain language
Plushy Mochi uses a small number of cookies and browser storage so your cart, checkout and account work, and to understand basic store traffic. We don't run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is similar browser storage that stays on your device. Both help the Store remember things between pages and visits.
Strictly necessary
These keep the Store working. They are set by Shopify, our e-commerce platform, and can't be turned off without breaking the cart and checkout. They may include:
- cart, cart_sig, cart_currency – remember what's in your cart and its currency (about 2 weeks).
- _secure_session_id, keep_alive – keep your session and checkout working (session to about 24 hours).
- secure_customer_sig – keeps you signed in to your account (up to 1 year).
- localization – remembers your country and currency (up to 1 year).
- _tracking_consent, _cmp_a – remember your privacy and cookie choices (up to 1 year).
Store features (your browser only)
- pm_favs (local storage) – your Favorites list. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- pm_lastCat (local storage) – remembers the last product category you browsed.
Analytics
Shopify's built-in analytics helps us count visits and understand which products and pages are popular. Where the law requires, these cookies are used only with your consent. They may include:
- _shopify_y, _shopify_s – distinguish visits and sessions (up to 1 year / 30 minutes).
- _orig_referrer, _landing_page – record how you arrived at the Store (about 2 weeks).
- _shopify_sa_t, _shopify_sa_p – sales attribution for our own marketing (about 30 minutes).
What we don't use
- No Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Pinterest Tag
- No Google Ads remarketing tags
- No third-party retargeting or fingerprinting tools
If we ever add any of these, we'll update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Third-party services
Google Fonts serves the fonts used on the Store. Google does not set cookies for font requests, but it does see your IP address when fonts load. Payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay) may set their own cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.
Your choices
You can manage your preferences on our Your Privacy Choices page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage by clearing your browsing data. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and checkout won't work.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies in a meaningful way, we'll update this notice and its "Last updated" date.
